A35-2??Received from USAAC/USAF 25/08/41. Wing badly damaged 08/10/41, aircraft grounded. Served with HQ at Rathmines 13/01/42 to 12/02/42. Served with 9 Sqn. 02/03/42 to 12/04/43. 27/07/42, Accident after Engines cut out at 3000 feet. Back to 9 Sqn after repair. Served at 3 OTU 12/04/43 to 08/07/43. Corrosion found on aircraft 23/06/43. Served with 9 Sqn again 20/07/43 to12/12/43. Converted to componants 14/02/44 or 14/07/44.
A35-3Dolphin 31001Built in 1931 as a luxurious six-seater (two pilot & four passengers) for Powell Crosley, Jr. Operated as NC982Y. Received from RAF 05/10/42, the aircraft was located in PNG. Served with 9 Sqn Point Cook 21/11/42 to 09/01/43. Served with HQ at Rathmines 11/01/43 to 19/01/43. Served with 3 OTU 20/01/43 to 25/01/43. Served with HQ at Rathmines again 25/01/43 to 22/03/43. Sold 03/05/45 to a Mr Whittle.
A35-4Dolphin 1141279Ordered by Philip K. Wrigley (of Wrigley Chewing Gum), the owner of the Santa Catalina Resort & was operated by his Wilmington Catalina Airline as NC14204. Shipped to Australia from the US in 08/04/43 and impressed into the RAAF. Served with 1 SFTS 08/04/43 to 12/05/43. Served with 3 OTU 22/05/43 to 29/07/43, Crashed 29/07/43 Rose Bay. Conversion to componants 08/08/44.
