A57-1G2?Delivered to RAAF 06/05/42 at Mascot. Delivered to SDF Laverton 07/05/43. Damaged 23/10/43 at Laverton VIC during landing accident. Repaired by 1 AD. To 1 APU for Glider Trials 10/01/44. Stored at 1 Stores Depot 01/10/46. To Beaufort Div 19/12/47. Stored 17/08/48 (SAS). To ARDU 25/11/48. The theory of a suction airfoil was tested on DHA Glider A57-1 between 1947 and 1951 with most of the flying being done by Sqn Ldr D.R. Cuming. Stored 24/07/51 (SAS). Grounded 06/12/51 at direction of DTS at ARDU. Stored 05/06/52 at ARDU. Disposal 17/12/52. Was used at some time for test on the Griffith suction wing, and after alteration by the Government Aircraft Factory was fitted with a 96 hp Mercury 59A engine for testing as a GlasII Suction Wing Glider.
A57-2G2?To 2 AD 11/07/43 ex 2APU/Dehavilland. Force landed 20/12/43 in a vineyard. Dismantled 22/12/43 and transported by 2 AD. 23/12/43 under repair by 2 AD. Towing rope broke near Yass NSW 21/01/44, landed in a field and went through a fence, extensive damage. Reduced to components 02/44.
A57-3G2?To 2 APU 06/07/43 ex Dehavilland. To 2 AD 11/07/43. Stored 01/10/46 at 1 AD. To Dehavilland 04/03/48 for repairs. To 2 AD. Damaged during takeoff 02/06/48. Repaired by 2 AD. To 86 Wing 10/08/48. Stored 17/08/48 (SAS). Held by 82 Wing 18/09/52 - Stored. Disposal 14/11/52.
A57-4G2?Reduced to components by 1952.
A57-5G2?Reduced to components by 1952.
A57-6G2?Last of 8 gliders delivered to RAAF 11/07/1942. Reduced to components by 1952.
A57-1001EG-1EG-1Was a prototype EG1 Glider. Initially Serialed EG-1. To 1 AD 11/10/42, ex 2AD. To SDF 07/04/43 (for Glider Trials). To 5 AD 08/04/44 for storage. To DAP 09/09/47 for disposal.
A57-1002EG-1EG-1Was a prototype EG1 Glider. Initially Serialed EG-2. To 1 AD 17/11/42, ex DeHavilland. To SDF 07/04/43 (for Glider Trials). To 5 AD 06/06/44 for Storage. To DAP 09/09/47 for disposal.
