Retired from service April 1998 and retained for RNZAF Museum. Donated to Royal NZ Navy Museum who have loaned it to MOTAT. Will return to Navy Museum after a new museum has been built. |

Crashed into Waitemata Harbour after engine failure 30 November 1973. Crew unhurt. Wasp recovered to Devonport Naval Base and written off after only 400 hours flying time. |

Crashed at Taupo 20 November 1992 when a tarpaulin was sucked up into the rotor blades as it was hover taxiing. Severely damaged by fire and written off. |
