Squadron strength of 9 aircraft included various aircraft at different times from 1958-1962. Opersted by No.75 squadron RNZAF from July 1958 until January 1962. To RAF Nos. 85 and 100 Squadrons. Alloctaed Instructional serial 8530M but not taken up. SOC 01 March 1977 and used for fire practice by Manstonn Fire Scholl until 1981.

Operated on loan from RAF by No.75 Squadron, Tengah, Singapore. Initial training in England and then aircraft ferried out. Used on anti-terrorist operations during the Malayan Emergency. Squadron strength of 9 aircraft included various aircraft at different times from 1958-1962. With No.75 Squadron RNZAF from July 1958 until February 1962. Named KURAHAUPO. To RAF Nos.45, 81, and 45 Squadrons. The aircraft was abandoned when both engines failed over the sea 2 miles South of Tengah on 29 June 1967.

Squadron strength of 9 aircraft included various aircraft at different times from 1958-1962. Named MAMERE and later TE ARAWA. Crashed into sea off Malaya during a night navigation exercise on 27 October 1961. The aircraft was hit by lightning in a thunderstorm. Navigator Flying Officer David Finn killed and pilot Flight Lieutenant P. Bevan baled out and rescued.

Flown from UK to Woomera by RAF crew in February 1960 and thenm on to Ohakea by RNZAF crew. Ferried back to UK by RNZAF in late 1960. Sold to BAC 03 October 1962 for Indian Air Force.
